COMING RIGHT UP:  American Craft Council Show, Atlanta, Georgia
SHOW DATES: MARCH 12-14, 2010

The American Craft Council sets the standard for fine craft shows, offering buyers the widest variety of craft selected through a rigorous jury process.  Artists will present their latest jewelry, clothing, furniture, home décor and more at the ACC Show, Cobb Galleria, 2 Galleria Parkway,  which will include a series of special features:

PREVIEW EVENT: Get an early peek of the amazing works the show has to offer! The American Craft Council is pleased to co-host a preview event with the Museum of Design Atlanta, the evening of Thursday, Mar. 11, from 6-9pm. All proceeds will jointly benefit the American Craft Council and Museum of Design Atlanta.

ALTCRAFT:  This inspiring section of rising indie craft artists, first introduced at the flagship Baltimore show, comes to Atlanta for the first time! Selected through a special jury process, ten artists whose work illustrates the innovative techniques and materials of the new handmade craft movement will exhibit in a shared market-style space. 

 GREEN CRAFT: Responding to contemporary issues, this category features artists incorporating recycled, and/or eco-friendly materials and techniques.

LIVE DEMOS: See how it’s done!  Callanwolde Fine Art Center will offer live craft demonstrations, including workshops for children, throughout the weekend.

I welcome commissions that might include your favorite wood combination in a design you see and admire.  I offer  supplies for  purchase: native and exotic hardwoods by the cut; pen, stopper, and bowl blanks, and iron display stands.  I also offer instruction in Woodturning + Segmented Techniques.
